How long do the classes last?
Our classes typically last for approximately 40 minutes.
Can I feed my little one during class?
Yes, absolutely! You can feed your little one at the mats or take yourself away from the class area if you prefer. Solid foods are not allowed within The Moo Room to ensure the safety of children with allergies.
What if my little one cries during class?
It's highly likely this will happen, so don't worry! You're in a welcoming and supportive environment surrounded by like-minded people who understand and have experienced the same. Comfort your little one as you usually would and make decisions that work best for you in the moment.
What if my baby sleeps during class?
If your child sleeps during class, simply sit back, relax, and enjoy a well-deserved rest!
When can I bring my newborn along to Baby Moo?
You can start bringing your newborn to Baby Moo whenever you feel ready. Most parents start when their little one is around 6 weeks old, but you're welcome to start earlier. Babies will begin to smile, recognise Maggie Moo, and enjoy the music in no time!
Are children with individual needs and disabilities welcome?
Yes, absolutely. Moo Music is an inclusive class, and we welcome all children. Please inform us prior to class if your child has any special needs, so we can make appropriate adaptations.
I have twins: can I bring them on my own?
Yes, you can. If you need an extra pair of hands during class, just ask, and your class leader will be happy to help. We also offer a sibling discount.
Can I bring additional adults to class?
Unfortunately, due to class sizes and room capacity, additional adults are not permitted.
Do you offer trial classes?
We do not offer trial classes. However, keep an eye on our social media pages for gifted places offered by those unable to attend class that week. These are available to new families and are free of charge.
Is there parking at Carlton Civic Centre?
Yes, Carlton Civic Centre has a large carpark available and it's free! Please note that the carpark operates a one-way system around the building.
Does the centre offer baby changing facilities?
Yes, the centre does offer baby changing facilities. However, you are also welcome to change your little ones during class in The Moo Room.
Are risk assessments in place?
Yes, risk assessments are in place and available to be viewed at each class. Please feel free to ask if you would like to see them.

How is payment made?
Payment is made through Bookaby when you book your child's place.
Do Moo Music classes align with the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile?
Yes, our uplifting and original songs are developed by Early Years Educators and professional musicians. These songs can be enjoyed while engaging in a range of activities, including imaginative role play, sign language, sensory play, and parachute games.
Do you have a safeguarding policy?
Yes, we do. Our safeguarding policy is available at every class. If you would like to see it, please ask.
