Moo Music Worksop Booking Terms & Conditions

Please read before proceeding with your booking:

Definitions

  • “Class(es)” refers to Baby Moo, Mini Moo and Mixed Moo to be delivered by your Class Leader

  • “Class Leader” is Mrs R Joynston & Mrs R Scott or any third party who may be appointed by Mrs R Joynston at her discretions from time to time to facilitate any Class(es)

  • “Moo Music Limited” of Seahaven, Long Lane, Appledore, Devon, EX39 1NF (company registration number 07902834)

  • “Moo Music Worksop” is Moo Music Worksop, S80, S81 & DN22

  • “We (Us) (Our)” – is the owner of Moo Music Limited, representatives and associates

  • “You” are the person or persons who has contracted to attend Moo Music’s Classes

1. Price and Pre-booking

The price of, and method of payment for, the Class(es) are as stated on social media and the website. All bookings must be made by you via Bookaby. Bookings on Class(es) cannot be held by the class leader for you.

Online booking via Bookaby is essential. Participants MUST pre-book their class space at each Class prior to the event. We will be unable to accommodate drop-in attendances. Please be aware that classes will start promptly and try to arrive 5 minutes before the start of your Class.

2. Incorrect class booking

If you book onto the incorrect Class(es) for your child, you must notify the class leader within 24 hours of making the booking. If a space is available in your preferred Class(es), you will be transferred across, free of charge. In the event that transferral is not possible, or you refuse alternative Class(es), if available, a refund will not be given as Moo Music Worksop is under no obligation to do so. In relation to contact made by yourself with Moo Music Worksop outside the 24-hour window of booking the incorrect Class(es), transferal of bookings will be at the Class Leader’s discretion and may incur an administrative charge of £3. If it is not possible to transfer you to your preferred class, or you refuse alternative Class(es), no refund will be given.

3. Class & Merchandise Payments

Pre-payment for our Class(es) is required at the time of booking and can only be performed via online payment through Bookaby. Only when payment has been made is your booking for the chosen Class(es) secure. Cash payments and or bank transfers for booking on to Class(es) are not accepted.

Merchandise can be purchased at Class(es) using credit / debit card, Apple Pay or cash payments.Bank transfer payments are not accepted.

4. Limited Class Spaces

Class sizes (attendees) must be restricted to follow health and safety regulations imposed by the class venue. Bookings are for one adult per child booking only. Additional children & adults outside of this will not be able to attend due to maximum room capacity, and to protect the health and safety of all in attendance.

5. Changing Class times and venues

If a class becomes too small to run (less than 3 booked) we may need to merge it with another possibly on a different date. We will do our best to keep class times as similar as possible but unfortunately cannot always guarantee this. If it is not possible to merge a class it may need to be cancelled. If a class becomes full we will open a waiting list and always try to open another class to cope with demand. Should you need to change class venues or times we will do our utmost to accommodate you (subject to the remainder of the clauses in these Terms and Conditions), but unfortunately cannot guarantee it.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

4.1 Cancellation by Moo Music

If a class has to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer an alternative class, where possible. If this is not possible, you will be able to deduct the price of the number of Classes cancelled from the following term's total fee via the use of a discount code, issued by the class leader. This discount code is only applicable to the term immediately following the cancelled classes and cannot be rolled over to any other following term or specials offered by Moo Music Worksop. The discount code once issued, must be redeemed by you at the time of booking on to the following term via Bookaby. If you are unable to attend the alternative Class(es) offered or you do not book onto the following term using the issued discount code, no refund will be given.

If a class has to be cancelled either directly or indirectly due to government guidance relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, or any other declared pandemic, no refund will be given.

4.2 Non-attendance by Customer

It may be possible to attend a different Class/venue during the same week if you cannot attend your usual Class. This will need to be discussed and arranged with the Class Leader, giving advance notice wherever possible, and if we can accommodate you, we will. However, Moo Music Worksop is under no obligation to refund or transfer your booking if you are unable to attend your pre-booked Class(es).

4.3 Adverse Weather

Moo Music Worksop is under no obligation to refund Classes that may be missed by local adverse weather when the venue is safe and accessible and the Class goes ahead. We regret that we are unable to offer a refund or catch up Class in the event of adverse conditions local to yourselves preventing you from attending a scheduled Class. Moo Music Worksop is under no obligation to refund or offer a free catch up Class in the event adverse weather conditions have forced its scheduled venue to close.

4.4 Illness

Neither you nor your child must attend a Class if they have any kind of contagious illness including: diarrhoea, chicken pox, impetigo, conjunctivitis, an ear infection or a bad cold. Please wait until the doctor has given you the all clear before returning to Classes. In the instance of sickness and/or diarrhoea, your child must have been clear of all symptoms for at least 48 hours before attending a Class.

If you or your child are displaying any COVID symptoms you will not be allowed to attend the Class.

If you are unable to attend a Class due to your child’s illness clause 4.2 of these Terms & Conditions will apply.

4.5 Admin Fee

Any refund approved at the discretion of Moo Music Worksop is subject to a £3 administration fee, which will be deducted by us from the total amount due to be refunded.

7. Class Resources & Props

We do not recommend prop sharing to minimize the risk of transmission of infectious illnesses, such as but not limited to, COVID-19. It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to ensure that only their child uses the prop their child has. All props are cleaned/sanitised with antiviral products before reuse.

Regularly used props may be available to purchase (such as shakers, juggling scarves, foil blankets & more), please ask for more information.

8. Supervision

Please ensure that you supervise your children during the Class – they really do love it when you join in so don't be afraid to help and encourage them/join in with actions yourself!

Please do not bring food or snacks to Class(es) (excluding sealed drinks and baby milk). Food MUST NOT be consumed during the Class as we need to be considerate of choking hazards and allergies of others in the Class.

Adults MUST NOT bring hot drinks to the Class. Please also ensure you take responsibility for yours and your child’s own cold drinks too, to avoid spillages and to prevent another child drinking from them.

9. Use of Moo Music

Moo Music’s music is copyrighted.

Please be aware that any CD's/digital downloads of Moo Music purchased are strictly for personal HOME USE ONLY and are not for use at any events including birthday parties, use within schools, playgroups, nurseries or at any public events. To use Moo Music at these types of events/places you need to hold a license, which only the Moo Music licensee holds. They are the only person able to give permission to use Moo Music at any of these places/events. The license holder for Moo Music Worksop is Mrs Rebecca Joynston.

10. Video and Photography

Whilst the family atmosphere we encourage at Classes means that parents, grandparents and friends should feel very comfortable taking photographs or video footage of their own child, we would ask that everyone remains sensitive to the feelings of others and always stop filming should they be asked to do so. In all instances the decision of the Moo Music Worksop Class Leader is final.

Moo Music Worksop expressly forbids the right to reproduce any part of our lessons in any form (e.g. on the internet, DVDs, photographs etc). Anyone suspected of continuously filming or photographing the lessons for any purpose of publication will be asked to stop filming and leave the current and all future Classes. All Moo Music Worksop photography, logos and illustrations are the copyright of Moo Music Limited. Any scanning or reproduction of any of the above without our written agreement will be regarded as being in breach of our copyright and dealt with accordingly.

Moo Music Worksop reserves the right to use photography from Classes for publicity purposes if you have agreed for us to do so. However, in each instance we will always endeavour to inform you first. Moo Music Worksop cannot be held liable for the actions of third parties, and, therefore excludes to the fullest extent possible by law, any liability arising from a breach of this section headed ‘Video and Photography’ by any party.

11. Valuables

All property (including prams) left in Class venues or in entrance halls or outside, is left at your own risk. Moo Music Worksop cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions.

12. Withdrawal of Service

Moo Music Worksop may, at its own discretion, refuse entry of a customer to its Classes if it is felt that the customer’s behaviour is unreasonable.

13. Class Leaders

All our Class Leaders are trained to our high standards. Generally, you will have the same Class Leader weekly however this is subject change due to illness, holiday and any future expansion.

14. Exclusion of Liability

In the absence of any proven negligence by your Class Leader(s), Moo Music Limited or its licensees or employees, the participation of you, your spouse/partner, child or those in whose care you have placed your child for the purpose of attending or observing Moo Music Worksop’s Classes is done soentirely at your and their own risk. Moo Music Worksop cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered as a result of your participation in any Class(es) or that of any third party accompanying you, other than as a result of Moo Music’s negligence.

Moo Music Worksop reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
